Leghorn Avenue Project Updates: Paving

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Township has announced updates to the Leghorn Avenue Improvement Project including when paving will begin. Field work on Leghorn Ave Sewer project is scheduled to resume on Monday, Oct. 15 with all major work items, including final paving, anticipated to be complete the week of Oct. 29, weather dependent, the township reported. Residents of Bridgewater, NJ will soon see the improvement on Leghorn Avenue when the paving portion of the Leghorn Ave Sewer Project begins. The Bridgewater Township has already announced updates to the Leghorn Avenue Improvement Project so that residents will be made aware of any disruptions on their daily commute. The field work on the Leghorn Ave Sewer Project is set to resume on October 15, Monday. All major works that include final paving are expected to be completed by the week of October 29. The Sri Venkateswara Temple(Balaji Mandir) and Community Center in Bridgewater, NJ was conceptualized in September, 1989 when a group of Telugu-speaking Hindus incorporated the Hindu Temple and Cultural Society. They looked for a place where they can worship the Hindu God Shri Venkateshvara as the main deity and found an unused church property in Bridgewater that had been set for auction in bankruptcy court. They won the bid at $950,000 and acquired the property on January 29, 1992. After inaugurating it for use in February, they opened the temple to the public in March 1992. They developed the temple from there and realized their vision in June 1998.
